The hotel provided a tranquil retreat with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. I was enamored by the scenic game walks and lounging in front of the open fireplace in the lounge. The staff were friendly, attentive and always available.

My family and I spent the new year at a historic farm in the Eastern Cape. The dogs on the property were really friendly and kept us company, and the walks on the farm were beautiful with lots of natural sights to see. The spacious accommodation had modern finishes and beautiful artistic touches. We also enjoyed the tasty breakfast and freshly brewed coffee every morning.

We encountered water and electricity issues, and some areas of the property were not well maintained. the location was quite remote and difficult to find without GPS.

This countryside retreat offers a unique and peaceful location with great food and friendly staff. Guests can take a short drive to see wildlife on private game reserves. The farm style accommodation provides luxurious bedding, heaters in the rooms and ample wood for an outside braai.

The property is located in a remote area without access to modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi or television.

Had a great time during my Easter holiday! The breakfast and dinner were top-notch - delicious homemade bread and coffee! The location was perfect for our long drive to the Drakensberg area - great views and peaceful with almost no noise.

The pool area was in poor condition, and the pool itself was very small and not enjoyable to swim in. there were many insects and spiders throughout our room, which made my stay uncomfortable.

Beautiful old buildings, authentic experience, helpful staff , wonderful meals, exceeded expectations, great value for money.

During my recent stay at a charming farm in the Eastern Cape, I experienced a truly relaxing and revitalizing escape. The spacious rooms with crisp white linen were incredibly comfortable, allowing me to unwind and recharge. The highlight, however, was the mouthwatering food served at the on-site restaurant. Each dish was prepared with remarkable freshness and artistic presentation. I couldn't resist having multiple meals there!
